Now for my main question....
This year for school, all of the teachers are dressing up like their favorite book character. I love all kinds of children's books, but I have no idea what character to dress up as. I need some advice. It is has to be kid friendly and appropriate to wear to school. What is your advice?
Any suggestions would be awesome!!

Fancy Nancy would be cute and pretty easy. Daisy Head Maisy...
an "American Girl", Bad case of stripes would be cute, but probably hard. Junie B.
Nancy drew would be cute! Or of course Harry potter :) and I tried on the komodos (I originally wanted them) but they didnt fit me quite as well as mine do, so id go with the lace up version so you can customize your fit more! I've heard they are awesome :)
Insanity is awesome! I hope you love it as much as I did.
For halloween, Pippi Longstocking maybe?
I don't think you can go wrong with either pair. And pink is always nice...
Hmmm, favorite characters. So many to choose from. Ferdinand would be really fun, but a pain in the arse to make! And of course there's the whole Pooh series, Curious George, Cat in the Hat--lots of animal choices. There must be a human choice in there somewhere, but can't think of any!
I was going to say Pippi Longstocking as well!! A girl I went to school with did that one year. She put her hair into braided pigtails and then threaded a wire (like from a wire hanger) through the braid so they would stick out crazy. Or you could be Fern from Charlotte's Web. Wear overalls and carry around a stuffed pig.
I can't wear the 5-finger shoes because I have flat feet and had a killer case of runners knee until a running store recommended the shoes i wear now. They intrigue me but i won't risk injury to my knee by trying new running shoes. If i were you i would get the pink ones simply because they are cute!
You could wear overalls and go as Sal from "blueberries for sal". Amelia Bedelia is also an easy costume (Just get a pilgrim costume and carry the book wtih you)
Is it weird that Harry Potter characters are the first to come to my mind? Haha! Love that series!
By the way, good luck with Insanity. Three of my girlfriends are doing it right now and they are loving it/hating it at the same time, haha!
